Modern Summer Furniture
Summer is a time we think to be outside, sitting in our homes, relaxing, and just being ourselves.. We tend not to remember that our backyards today are an extension of our homes and in most cases can make it a great dining, sitting, or lounging area that can be just as nice as any other room.. I know myself living in Miami, tend to only use my outdoor terrace and sitting area in the spring winter, and fall, since the summer is simply to hot a time for me to sit outside in the summer here in miami.

Here are the modern glass pavilion design within a wooded landscape by David Jameson architect. this house with two stone structures surround a glass pavilion within a wooded landscape in Bethesda Maryland. the concept for the glen brook residence was to create three distinct structures: one for the most public program (entry space, garage and quest bedrooms), one for the most private living program and one where public and private can co-exit. each space has an outdoor terrace or some special connection to the site while the roof of the glass pavilion folds beyond one’s cone of vision to create the feeling of being outside. the building is made of all natural material with a 100 year lifespan and features a underground spring-fed water furnace HVAC system.
