About Alexander Calzadilla

Alexander Calzadilla is a Cuban male originally from Philadelphia, who has happily called Miami his home since moving here at the age of 15. He attended Southwest Sr. High School and Florida International University, ultimately receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. While in college, he began working as a paralegal for the Law Offices of Jeffrey E. Reichenbacher, a position he kept for seven years after graduation. He subsequently worked at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius Associates before landing at Costa Nursery. After distinguishing himself with many accomplishments, he was promoted to the position of Director of Specialty Products, which included the orchid, bonsai and lucky bamboo departments. When Alex was first put in charge of the three departments, they ranked near the bottom. By the time he left Costa after seven years, Alex had transformed the floundering departments into unqualified successes, posting record earnings, sales and profitability. In 2008 Alex was named the Costa Employee of the Year. Alex now puts his formidable prowess as a businessman into his newest venture, Avant-Garde Home Furnishings, LLC, serving as Managing Partner.

A dream home, living rooms, and kitchens...

Today I am sharing with all of you some concepts I ran into I found while doing some research for a very good friend of mine that was convinced it was time to remodel his home. We searched for every room in his house redesigned the entire home and then in the end he decided he would wait.. But here are some of the concept rooms we searched and had in mind for his home for his Living Room, Kitchen, and a few other rooms.. He especially liked the lime green bathroom in the first home..

Belmont Dream House with Modern Design and Open Plan Living Spaces. Belmont Dream House Design by zo2 architecture that would be ecological but also cutting edge and stylish with high ceilings and huge windows to maximise the stunning views of Lake Geneva from the hilltop setting of Belmont-sur-Lausanne. To make the brief even more of a challenge, the actual site was both steep and had an awkward layout.zo2 was able to rise to the challenge and created a timber construction that rigorously adhered to ecological standards whilst featuring open plan living spaces, huge sliding doors and open terraces. The resulting Belmont Dream House is divided into three loft style apartments that complement the environment through the use of natural materials. The interior reflects the clients’ love of attention to detail and functional design. Strong use of colour reflects the natural setting of the home and defines the mood for separate spaces within the open plan design. Italian Kitchen Furniture Design for All Kinds of Interior Styles

The stainless steel back panel and worktop make the working area strongly professional.
