About Alexander Calzadilla

Alexander Calzadilla is a Cuban male originally from Philadelphia, who has happily called Miami his home since moving here at the age of 15. He attended Southwest Sr. High School and Florida International University, ultimately receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. While in college, he began working as a paralegal for the Law Offices of Jeffrey E. Reichenbacher, a position he kept for seven years after graduation. He subsequently worked at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius Associates before landing at Costa Nursery. After distinguishing himself with many accomplishments, he was promoted to the position of Director of Specialty Products, which included the orchid, bonsai and lucky bamboo departments. When Alex was first put in charge of the three departments, they ranked near the bottom. By the time he left Costa after seven years, Alex had transformed the floundering departments into unqualified successes, posting record earnings, sales and profitability. In 2008 Alex was named the Costa Employee of the Year. Alex now puts his formidable prowess as a businessman into his newest venture, Avant-Garde Home Furnishings, LLC, serving as Managing Partner.

Tree Houses like you've never seen

Tree houses that need interior designers..

Now just saying sounds wrong on so many levels

When we were growing up I am sure many of us remember playing in tree houses or even building a couple or one really cool one with our father that was the talk of the neighborhood and looked spectacular with every wood piece matching and door that really closed..

Well fast forward to 2011 ....

The tree houses you are about to see need interior decorators to do the inside rooms, yes rooms plural.. a long way from wood planks and kids play toy homes, look at the following examples of what they are calling tree houses today... MY god I can't believe it..

Here the double-storey tree house was built by us especially for Uslar in a forest clearing in Germany, tree house are made after the outdoor work, the tree house above the water of the pond will be.All exterior and interior wall surfaces and cabinets are rough cut cypress and the flooring is bleached oak.

This house build in front of main house, tree house design unique and comfy to relax after work.tree house is above the ground surrounded by trees and shrubs and allows a panoramic view. The set was built by us in a private property on the edge of a slope that drops sharply. In the flat area of the garden is accessed via a ramp on the large terrace. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view over the city and the main valley Freudenberg. A wide staircase leads to a panoramic room next door closed, rounded tree.

The choice of materials outside of the tree house and the land is characterized by the use of glass steel and stainless steel larch. The interior gets special effects, the rounded shape and reduced selection of materials. white-coated surfaces, lots of windows, the sun, covered with gray wool felt seat cushions give the room a bright with great views and a unique character...

YEA VERY UNIQUE... We were lucky to have wood planks when I was a kid.. All materials were being sent to rebuild Europe at the time... and God forgive me for saying this BUT THAT IS NO TREE HOUSE.. I mdean I wouldn't let anyone in afraid they would dirty it.. Wait did that that comment just come out of my mouth.. Well this tree aint NO TREE HOUSE.. LOL... .. I mean come now.. REALLY!!!!!!!!!!

Wilkinson Residence Located on Portland, Oregon. a steep sloping grade provided the opportunity to bring the main level of the house into the tree canopy to evoke the feeling of being in a tree house.

A lover of music, the client wanted a house that not only became part of the natural landscape but also addressed the flow of music. This house evades the mechanics of the camera; it is difficult to capture the way the interior space flows seamlessly through to the exterior. One must actually stroll through the house to grasp its complexities and its connection to the exterior. One example is a natural wood ceiling, floating on curved laminated wood beams, passing through a generous glass wall which wraps around the main living room.
