About Alexander Calzadilla

Alexander Calzadilla is a Cuban male originally from Philadelphia, who has happily called Miami his home since moving here at the age of 15. He attended Southwest Sr. High School and Florida International University, ultimately receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. While in college, he began working as a paralegal for the Law Offices of Jeffrey E. Reichenbacher, a position he kept for seven years after graduation. He subsequently worked at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius Associates before landing at Costa Nursery. After distinguishing himself with many accomplishments, he was promoted to the position of Director of Specialty Products, which included the orchid, bonsai and lucky bamboo departments. When Alex was first put in charge of the three departments, they ranked near the bottom. By the time he left Costa after seven years, Alex had transformed the floundering departments into unqualified successes, posting record earnings, sales and profitability. In 2008 Alex was named the Costa Employee of the Year. Alex now puts his formidable prowess as a businessman into his newest venture, Avant-Garde Home Furnishings, LLC, serving as Managing Partner.

A VERY SPECIAL WEEKEND WITH LOVED ONES

A VERY SPECIAL CAPE CORAL WEEKEND!
A GREAT PLACE, CELEBRATIONS, AND MOTHER'S DAY!

ARRIVING IN CAPE CORAL

This past weekend I was in Cape coralk to celebrate the 15th birthday party of my niece. Well let me rephrase. It was not actually her 15th birthday party as that was a few weeks ago, it was the day to take pictures for her sweet 15, as it is know in the latin community. You see unlike sweet 16 parties families with Latin heritage celebrate the 15th birthday instead of the 16th. So we went to Cape Coral, which is where my sister lives to take pictures.

In the end we ended up staying at this beautiful Marina hotel (i stayed with my niece and nephew) and enjoyed this beautiful stunning resort on the Gulf Coast and enjoyed on the more moderate days of the season while enjoying the Hotel's majestic scenery and beautiful atmosphere, and all within two minutes of my sister's house who lives on the other side of the fense you could say literally. I took some pictures to share with all of you this beautiful place that seemed to blend modern contemporary design with Cape Coral's own version of traditional design yet still leave in place the nature preserve and sanctuary surrounding the entire complex.

And of course Sunday it was Mother's Day a time to be with our families and just relax settle down and spend a nice quiet day with the ones we love the most because in the end family should be the most important bond we have in life... Hope all of you enjoyed Mother's Day this year and that all you mother's out there got a little something that was special to you.. GOD knows youy deserve it.. after all our mom's put up with all our crap and then some and yet manage to give us unconditional love year round... Talk about special..
